The USMC and ARMY chino are almost identical, but in order to speed up production during World War II, there was a version of the USMC khakis that did not have a hip pocket, so to say a simplified ARMY version, and there was a version with both a back flap pocket, a setup usually found on winter wool pants, which were mostly used by officers. These were more practical and, of course, more popular versions. The pants we are launching this time are based on this version. They are commonly referred to as "USMC officer's Trousers."

A great pair of trousers. The material feels sturdy yet comfortable. The cotton has a great weight to it which is ideal for spring or autumn. The details (buttons, pockets) are fantastic and really well made. The only thing I dislike is the front rise. On me, the rise sits a tad bit lower than the belly button- I would prefer they sat higher. Other than that they are excellent value for money. These trousers beat others in my collection that are triple the price. Right on!

These were massive on my skinny 64kg, 5 foot 9 (176cm) build. I've had them taken in just over 2 inches. Took my regular 32 size. You can pull them up to sit on your belly button, not much higher than that, though, as they start to pull around the thighs. if you have a bit of a belly this will be uncomfortable at your usual waist size when sitting, so you'll have to wear them just below or size up. This can make the extra rise look a bit saggy from behind. Considering how massive these are, I would not recommend sizing up unless you are a bigger build. May have to tailor them. Note there is no stretch. The weight of the fabric means they can be worn on colder days.
